Learn How This Woman Hacked Her Fridge to Dispense Wine

Not all heroes wear capes. As Buzzfeed reports, 28-year-old Clare, a digital marketer living in England, recently took the leap and bought a house with her boyfriend, Joe. Along with the house, they purchased a new refrigerator. That's when Clare won 2016. "Why not fill the fridge's water dispenser with wine?" she thought.

Almost overnight, Clare and her super-fridge went viral, with her original Tweet racking up nearly 70,000 retweets and more than 180,000 likes since Sunday.

Despite any concerns, Clare has said this game-changing hack hasn't negatively affected the function of the fridge, nor the taste of the water it's now dispensing (after a rinse, of course).

"We finished off the bottle and washed it out so it's back to water now. Not sure if it would work if you left it for a while, though," Clare said.

Clare has since expressed surprise, not only at the response from the world which she's called "absolutely crazy," - and that no one done it before.

"I can't believe people haven't done it before - it's definitely something fridge manufacturers should add in," she said.
