Roasted Cauliflower with Pepper
Spice up your vegetable side with our Roasted Cauliflower with Pepper. Tender cauliflower packs a punch with chili flakes and peanuts.
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into steaks
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 2 tsp chili flakes
- 1/4 tsp peanuts
- 1 Tbsp chopped parsley
- juice from 1/2 a lime
Preheat your oven to 400ºF.
Place the cauliflower steaks on a baking sheet and drizzle the olive oil on both sides of the steak. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Roast for 10 minutes and using tongs, flip the cauliflower over. Roast until tender and a bit golden, about 10-15 minutes more. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the peanuts, chopped parsley, and the lime juice. Serve.
You decide how hot you want it! Adjust the chili flakes to your preference.
The cauliflower is down when some of the florets are golden brown and the stalk is tender.
