Cilantro Chimichurri Shrimp Dish Recipe

Cilantro chimichurri is a spin on the classic Latin American condiment. The addition of shrimp makes this a meal you won't forget.

  • 1 lb large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup packed cilantro stems included
  • 1 cup packed parsley stems included
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1/2 shallot chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  • Toss shrimp with paprika and salt and pepper in a small bowl. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink and done. Remove from heat.
  • Meanwhile, prepare chimichurri in a blender or food processor. Add all ingredients and pulse until chopped and combined.
  • Combine shrimp and chimichurri and serve.
