Cast Iron Skillet Roasted Corn Recipe
If you're a fan of roasted corn and you have a cast iron skillet lying around, ditch the grill and try this kitchen friendly recipe.
- 1 pound frozen sweet corn kernels
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- kosher salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika optional
- black pepper to taste
Add butter and olive oil to a cast-iron skillet on high heat.
Once the butter has melted, stir in the frozen corn and garlic powder.
Saute, stirring occasionally until the kernels are browned, about 8 minutes.
Off the heat, add salt and pepper to taste.
