Chicken nuggets are an American favorite. They can be a snack or a meal and everybody from kids to adults loves them. It doesn't matter what kind of sauce you like to dip them in, because nuggets work with almost anything (just maybe not soda).
Everybody loves Chick-fil-A chicken nuggets especially, but there are a few places that love them more than anybody else. Who eats the most Chick-fil-A nuggets? Honestly, the answer surprised us a little. We expected Georgia since Atlanta is home to the fast food chain, but the Peach State didn't make the list. Three Southern states did make the list, but probably not the ones you'd guess (we assume everyone else is sticking with the Chick-fil-A sandwich).

Countdown along with us as we find out who eat the most Chick-fil-A nuggets, according to a fun Chick-fil-A post that lists the top 10 stores based on nugget sales. If you're hungry after reading, it's all good. The chain is rolling out a 30-count nugget pack in all these states and across the country.
10. Ohio
Ohio has more than 60 Chick-fil-A restaurants across the state, so there are plenty of places to get your fried chicken on.
9. New Jersey
New Jersey isn't just about pizza. The chain's 36 locations across the state do a brisk business in chicken nuggets, giving the state the #9 spot.
8. Arizona
There are 39 Chick-fil-A restaurants in Arizona and one Grand Canyon. We'll leave it up to you to figure out which is more popular. (Also, now we're thinking about a giant vat of Chick-fil-A sauce.)
7. Wyoming
Wide open spaces define Wyoming, so it's not surprising that there are only two Chick-fil-A stores in the whole state. What is surprising is that those two stores and Wyoming's Chick-fil-A faithful put the state at #7 on the list of who eats the most Chick-fil-A nuggets.
6. New Hampshire
For a small state, people in New Hampshire do chicken nuggets proud. Like Wyoming, there are only two Chick-fil-A locations in the entire state, and yet the Granite State comes in at #6 on the list of who eats the most Chick-fil-A nuggets. Impressive!
5. New Mexico
Writer Taylor Gill says: "With a cow population that rivals the human population, New Mexico's cattle community might be calling the shots when it comes to making sure this state 'Eats Mor Chikin.'"
4. Oklahoma
45 Chick-fil-A stores dot the expanse of Oklahoma and residents flock to those stores for their nugget fix.
3. West Virginia
The 19 Chick-fil-A locations in West Virginia do a booming business with nuggets lovers across the state.
2. Louisiana
The Chick-fil-A blog notes that "Even the crawfish capital of the world can't resist trading shellfish for these bite-sized pieces of perfection." We'd have to agree that chicken nuggets at the 39 locations across the state beat crawfish any day of the week.
1. Utah
The top spot might be a bit of a surprise - who knew that Utah loved Chick-fil-A this much? Chickens may not fly, but it looks like nuggets do fly out of the 28 locations across the state.
