What goes better together than waffles and weddings? Waffle House, the Atlanta-based restaurant chain with over 2,100 locations across 25 states has introduced their newest addition to the Waffle House family. Meet the new Waffle House food truck which can now bring all the waffles and bacon to your corporate events, family reunions, and even weddings.

This popular addition is a great way to serve some Southern favorites to party-goers. According to Waffle House, the new food truck is open for business on a per person basis with a chosen menu. The availability of the truck depends on the catering event calendar, so if you really want waffles at your private event, it's a good idea to book it far in advance.

A unique experience, the waffle truck requires a 50% deposit on events over $1000. Currently, the truck is available to serve special events in Georgia but can travel long distance with additional lodging fees for team members. Fees include a one-time payment of $90 for the rental fee, $50 per hour based on mileage to and from the location (including time to set up and break down), and an additional optional 10% for paperware.

Some favorite menu choices include an All-Star Breakfast which features all your breakfast favorites, a Sirloin Steak Dinner served with garden salads and hashbrowns, and of course, a waffle bar complete with chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, pecans, and whipped cream. What's better than that?

Waffle House has a little-known menu option that expands the reach of its 24/7 breakfast empire: a food truck. ? The Atlanta-headquartered restaurant chain's catering department added a food truck five years ago, but its existence has recently gained some national attention. ? @wafflehouseofficial, which has about 1,900 restaurants in 25 states, decided to get a food truck for catering because the Atlanta area restaurants had so many catering requests. ? "It?s very busy," said Pat Warner, the chain's director of public relations and external affairs. "It has really taken off. I try to get it for Waffle House events and I have to book it months in advance. They will do three or four weddings in a day." ? #WaffleHouse #WaffleHouseFoodTruck #Memphis

Currently, the Waffle House catering service is based out of Atlanta, but you can hire it nationwide, minding the cost of travel and lodging. However, if you are looking for something smaller you can follow in the footsteps of Lawson, the three-year-old who celebrated his birthday at the 24/7 restaurant. The team members even gave him his own birthday name tag, a personalized apron and waffle house pins.
