Back in the day, cooks depended on cooking their food in cast iron pans to make sure their families were getting all the nutrients they needed. However, it seems like Tyson Chicken went too far and actually packaged frozen chicken strips with pieces of metal in them. High in nutrients, probably, but definitely not the best way to enjoy your chicken nuggets.
According to the United States Department of Agriculture and Food Safety and Inspection Service, Tyson Foods, Inc. of Rogers, Ark. is recalling 11,829,517 pounds of frozen, ready-to-eat chicken strip products that may be been contaminated with pieces of metal.
The chicken was produced between the dates of Oct. 1, 2018 and March 8, 2019 and have "Use By Dates" of Oct. 1, 2019 through March 7, 2020.
