Never fear, fans of The Pioneer Woman -- the latest issue of Ree Drummond's wildly popular The Pioneer Woman Magazine will hit shelves soon. In the meantime, though, here's a sneak peek. As you can see by the cover, this issue of The Pioneer Woman Magazine is focused on all things fall: Halloween decorating ideas, a recipe for caramel apple sweet rolls -- and 22 more ideas and recipes for the kitchen -- a piece on chili for cowboys and Drummond's take on the beauty of wild horses.
The cover features a photo of Food Network star Drummond with family dog Walter showing off his "happy face." You won't be surprised to find a few meal planning tips and tricks inside, too, just in time for the back-to-school release date of the new magazine.
For those who have missed out on previous issues of The Pioneer Woman Magazine, which flew off shelves after its debut from Hearst Magazines--another 100,000 copies of the first issue had to be reprinted to meet demand--there's some more good news in store: distribution for this second issue will be widely expanded.
The Pioneer Woman Magazine will be available beyond its original only Walmart stores sales at Barnes & Noble, Sam's Club, Costco, Target, CVS, Walgreens, Kroger, Publix, Albertson's, Wegmans, Books-a-Million, Hudson News, Paradies, Stop & Shop and more. The magazine, a joint venture from publisher Hearst and media company Scripps Networks Interactive, will join the magazine shelves with publications like HGTV Magazine, Food Network Magazine, and Country Living.
I was mid-sentence and have a goofy look on my face, but wanted to show you a behind-the-scenes peek at a video I shot for @landolakesktchn last Friday. I'll post it next week (recipe is yummy!) but this video is notable because I shot it in my house rather than the Lodge, where we film my show! I had to walk around and make sure I'd picked up all the socks (and other things) off the floor first, but it was fun! Except my oven was acting up and I kept having to flip the breaker to finish the recipe. Oh, and this has been going on for a year. I guess I just decided along the way that flipping a breaker to use my oven is normal? Probably easier than getting the oven fixed! Thank you for listening.
As always, this issue of The Pioneer Woman Magazine will feature loads of Drummond's favorite family-friendly recipes, behind the scenes stories from the Drummond Ranch and Mercantile and plenty of pioneer style, along with contests, giveaways and more.
You'll get a taste of good ol' Pawhuska inside the pages and thankfully, it'll be found in your local grocery store this time around instead of rummaging through the Walmart shelves. We know we'll be saving all of those recipes and style tips to our Pinterest boards!
The next issue of The Pioneer Woman Magazine will hit shelves September 12. Find tips for ranch-approved style and way more fun recipes than the pilot issue in this new issue.
