[dropcap]I[/dropcap]t's a big year for Girl Scout Cookie lovers. In 2017, the Girl Scouts of the United States of America celebrated the 100th anniversary of its iconic cookies. In honor of this century of confections, Influenster conducted a poll of its more than 5,000 members to discover the favorite Girl Scout cookie in each of the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
The Most Popular Girl Scout Cookie in America is...
Somewhat unsurprisingly, Thin Mints were both the most popular Girl Scout cookie, scoring the highest number of votes, and the top choice in most states.
A close second place went to Caramel deLites (Samoas) in overall votes, third place went to Peanut Butter Patties (Tagalongs) and a distant fourth place went to Peanut Butter Sandwiches (Do-si-dos).
Unlucky cookies who didn't win any love include Trefoils, Toffee-Tastic, S'Mores Cookies, Caramel Chocolate Chip, Shortbread cookies, Thanks-a-Lots, Savannah Smiles, and Lemon-Ups.
