Texas Christmas Punch
This Texas Christmas Punch gets its kick from an ample amount of tequila! Filled with pomegranate and cranberry juice, this punch will make your party!
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 4 cups pomegranate juice
- 3 cups tequila
- 1 cup lime juice
- 2 cups cranberry juice
- 1 750-ml bottle sparkling wine
- fresh cranberries to garnish
- In a small saucepan combine the sugar and water and bring to a boil, dissolving the sugar. Remove from heat and cool completely.
- In a large punch bowl stir together the simple syrup, pomegranate juice, tequila, lime juice and cranberry juice. Chill for 2 hours. Stir in the sparkling wine and serve.
Serve with fresh cranberries as a fun garnish. You can also serve the punch with ice cubes to skip to chilling step.
