A sticky bun recipe seems like a tough one to make at home, but the Pioneer Woman makes it super easy to follow along in this video. Plus, even with all the steps, these pecan sticky buns look like a lot of fun to make. They're perfect for a lazy weekend at home or a special breakfast treat for the family.

You'll start by making the pecan mixture topping. Trust me, you may want to skip the rest of the recipe and just eat this bit straight out of the pan. All the topping ingredients but the pecans get mixed up, the pecans go into an oven-safe skillet, the mixture goes on top of the pecans, and the whole thing goes into an oven.
While that bakes, mix up the dough and let it rise. You will need to give the dough two chances to rise, including stashing the dough for up to three days in the refrigerator.
Roll the dough out into a large rectangle and add the filling. Once you've sliced the roll of dough into rounds, each perfect sliced round of cinnamon roll goes into the skillet, nestled into the baked mixture which you've tried so hard not to eat up before the rolls can get to it.
It's worth the wait, though, because once you bake these pecan rolls and then flip the whole thing so the pecans are on top, you will be the most-loved person in your house.
