Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccinos Are Real with a Colorful Secret Inside

You can't turn around without hearing someone mention Starbucks and its newest drink offerings which, in the last few months, have included everything from the Medicine Ball to the Instagram-worthy Pink Drink. Well, the Pink Drink has serious competition from this new drink. Make way for Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino.

In a press release, the coffee giant announced it would be channeling "the elusive unicorn from medieval legend currently in the midst of comeback with the creation of everything from unicorn toast to unicorn macarons.

To do so, the coffee chain is releasing its first Unicorn Frappuccino blended beverage, available from Wednesday, April 19 through Sunday, April 23 while supplies last.

So what is the Unicorn Frappuccino exactly? It will start with a blended crème frappuccino base and mango syrup. The sour blue drizzle will be visible from the outside of the iconic cup.

Like any good frappuccino, it's topped with vanilla whipped cream, and garnished with a sweet dusting of pink powder and sour blue powder. Does this sound like a Fun Dip, or what? We need it. Social media is already going crazy over this invention.

The drink will reportedly begin as purple, with blue swirls throughout. A stir will bring a color changes surprise, making the drink turn pink, and the flavor will follow suit, moving from tart to tangy.

This is the best frappuccino we've ever seen, which is hard to say considering some of our favorite frappuccino hacks all begin with a creme frappuccino base. Make sure you grab yours at official Starbucks stores across the U.S., Mexico, or Canada!
