Slow Cooker Shrimp Scampi
Do you love Shrimp Scampi but hate spending time over the stove? Try out our Slow Cooker Shrimp Scampi, made in only 1 hour 30 minutes!
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup white wine
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp chopped parsley
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 1/2 lbs shrimp
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
- In a slow cooker combine the chicken broth, white wine, olive oil, butter, garlic, parsley, and lemon juice. Stir to combine.
- Add in the shrimp, red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper. Cook on HIGH until shrimp is cooked through, about 90 minutes. Serve over pasta if desired.
Make your own pasta or rice to serve with this Shrimp Scampi. You can also cook this on LOW for 2 1/2 hours.
