Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Oatmeal
Start your breakfast off right with this Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Oatmeal. Top it with your favorite fruits, nuts, and sweets.
- 1 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch salt
- Using the butter, grease the inside of your slow cooker. To slow cooker add milk, water, oats, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, on high until oats are done and creamy, about 4 hours.
- Dish into bowls and serve with additional brown sugar.
Add a bit of maple syrup to make this oatmeal super sweet! Serve with additional milk if needed.
