Shiner Bock Beer Bread
Thanks to the magic of Shiner, you'll get a fluffy loaf with a crunchy crust that's perfect with a pat of butter or a slice of brisket.
- 2 1/4 cup whole wheat flour (Can use all-purpose instead if desired)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbs honey
- 2 tbs butter, melted
- 12 oz Shiner Bock
- Preheat oven to 400 F and lightly grease an 8 inch loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Make a well in the center, then pour in honey, melted butter, and Shiner. Mix until just blended, then pour into the prepared pan and bake until golden brown, about 45 minutes.
