The 'Saved by the Bell' Pop-Up Diner Is Heading to a New Location

Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, what is going on here? Yes, that's right, Saved By The Max, a pop-up diner from the popular 90s sitcom Saved By The Bell is opening its doors this spring in West Hollywood. The diner originally got its start in Chicago and after selling out for an entire year, the owners decided to move the eatery to the West Coast and fans are more than excited.

The themed pop-up diner is based on the favorite hangout, The Max, where Bayside High students would hang out before games and after school. It's the place where Lisa and Screech won a dance contest hosted by Casey Kasem and Jessie, Lisa, and Kelly came up with the wildly catchy song, "Hot Sundae".

The California pop-up restaurant is open for reservations starting on February 2nd and will be located at 7100 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood.

While the full menu isn't on the site yet, their Windy City location included dishes such as the Bayside Burger, Preppy BLT, A.C. Sliders, The Kelly Kapowski Monte Cristo, Tori's Fried Chicken and Max's Magical Sweet Tooth, a sugary dessert.

The Chicago location featured a prix frixe meal for about $45, which included a choice of an appetizer, main and dessert so we are hoping this Los Angeles location will follow suit. The pop-up diner also included a variety of different alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options including creamy ice cream milkshakes.

The pop-up restaurant is set to open on May 1st according to the Saved By The Max Facebook page. Purchasing a ticket includes both dinner and admission to The Max which includes show memorabilia, scripts and serious photo ops. And who knows, Zach Morris just might pop in for a bite. Let's cross our fingers.
