The 'Roseanne' Pop-Up Restaurant at SXSW Is a Must-Visit

If you're a "Roseanne" fan, you're going want to sit down for this news. After 20 years, the beloved sitcom will return to televisions nationwide on March 27 on ABC with an hour-long special premiere. The Conners will appear in eight new episodes, with the season finishing after eight weeks. The revival is the best news some fans have heard all year, but if you're in Texas and able to make it to South By Southwest, then this might take the cake.

SXSW is hosting a pop-up restaurant that will run from March 10 through March 12 at the Volcom Garden venue on East Sixth Street. The pop-up will feature Lanford Lunch Box, the restaurant that Roseanne Conner and her family opened with her former boss. You'll also find the Conner's living room, garage, and kitchen at the pop-up. Yes, you can sit on the iconic couch. It will run from 11 a.m. through 6 p.m.

The menu will be a recreation of Lanford with dishes like loose-meat sandwiches, coffee, pies, and Canoga Beer. Those that are big fans will recognize Canoga as the fictional root beer brand in the show. If you're heading to the pop-up on March 10 and 11, you'll have a chance to spot cast members Lecy Goranson, Michael Fishman, and Emma Kenney. They'll be hosting "Roseanne" trivia with a meet-and-greet.

This isn't the first time a rebooted show is getting a pop-up at SXSW. Last year, the "Twin Peaks" pop-up Double R Diner featuring the iconic dinner was a huge hit with fans that traveled near and far to experience a piece of pie and coffee. It seems that we could see the same turnout this year given the public's excitement for a revival of "Roseanne."

Can you hear Roseanne's laugh from here? Get ready for themed collectible koozies, perfect for wrapping up your own Canoga as you settle in for the reboot on March 27.
