INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups butter, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 4 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 12-oz bag chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375ºF.
In a large bowl with an electric mixer, cream together the sugar, brown sugar, and butter until creamy. Add in the vanilla and beat. Add in the eggs one at a time until incorporated.
In a separate bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir into the butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Place dough in fridge to chill for 30 minutes.
Once dough is chilled, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake until light golden brown, about 8-10 minutes. Serve warm or cooled.
Notes
If you like a really chewy cookie, cook these for about 8 minutes.
This dough can also be frozen and baked later.
