INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb dry red beans
- 3 celery ribs, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Tbsp Creole seasoning
- 4 cups hot cooked rice
- chopped green onions
Instructions
In a slow cooker add the beans, celery, bell peppers, onion, garlic, and creole seasoning. Cook on HIGH until beans are tender, about 7 hours.
Spoon mixture over hot rice and garnish with chopped green onion.
Notes
Add 1/2 pound smoked turkey sausage if you want to add meat to the dish.
