INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb dried pinto beans
- 7 1/2 cups water
- 2 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Instructions
In your slow cooker add the beans, water, crushed red pepper, salt, and pepper. Stir. Cover and cook on LOW until beans are tender, about 7-9 hours. Serve.
Notes
Serve the beans as a side dish or use them as a part of your main.
Top the beans with chopped cilantro for a bit of freshness.
