Pizza Grilled Cheese
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese
- 4 pepperoni rounds sliced in half
- 4 tomato slices
- 4 pieces bread
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Heat a medium skillet to medium heat. Butter two slices of bread and place in pan. Top each bread slice with 2 slices of cheese, 2 pepperoni rounds, and 2 tomato slices. Top with remaining bread and butter the outside. Flip to cook until both sides are golden brown and the cheese has melted, about 3 minutes. Remove from pan and place on a plate.
In a small bowl, combine marinara sauce, dried oregano, and dried basil. Dip grilled cheese into dip and enjoy.
Add some of your favorite pizza toppings (like olives and mushrooms), to make this grilled cheese uniquely yours.
We like to whip up a batch of this marinara sauce to serve with mozzarella sticks. Yum!
