- 3/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 3 cups sweet tea
- 1 cup bourbon
- fresh mint, for garnishing
In a large pitcher, combine mint leaves, lemon, and sugar. Use a wooden spoon and muddle to release essential oils in mint. Add sweet tea and bourbon. Pour into glasses filled with ice and garnish
Muddling the mint is a must if you want your drink to taste minty.
We love that this recipe is served in a pitcher but if you want to make one drink use these measurements: 2 Tablespoons mint, 2 lemon slices, 1 tsp sugar, 3/4 cup sweet tea, 1/4 cup bourbon.
