- 2 oz pure maple syrup
- 4-5 dashes bitters
- 1/2 oz orange juice
- 2 1-inch orange rind
- 4 oz bourbon
- sparkling water
- 2 Maraschino cherries, for garnish
In two old-fashioned glasses, add the maple syrup, bitters, and orange juice. Stir to combine. Using a pestle, press the rind into the glass and press to release essential oils. Add bourbon, ice, and sparkling water. Top with a cherry.
Add sparkling water to your liking.
You can always add a dash of Angostura bitters if you please.
