Hard Apple Cider Ribs

Apple and pork always go hand-in-hand. These Hard Apple Cider Ribs are no exception to the beautiful pairing of pork and sweet apple.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 bottles Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Hard Cider
  • 1/2 red onion, chopped
  • 1 rack pork ribs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1-2 cups BBQ sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 250ºF. Pour Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Hard Cider into the bottom of a deep roasting pan with onion. Top with the pork ribs. Sprinkle the pork ribs with paprika and salt and pepper to taste. Cover with aluminum foil tightly and cook 3 hours or until tender.
  • Remove foil and transfer ribs to a baking sheet. Discard apple cider and onion. Preheat broiler to high and brush ribs with BBQ sauce. Broil until sauce is lightly charred. Slice and serve.

Notes

Serve with a side of baked apples if desired.
