Sweet potato slices go perfectly with other side dishes like black beans, green beans, and grilled zucchini. The colors are gorgeous and the flavors are endless. Whether you choose a classic sweet brown sugar glaze or a spicy chili powder/chipotle taco seasoning with fresh cilantro, these grilled sweet potatoes will become your new grill pan's BFF.

With a super simple and fast prep time, this is an easy recipe to serve alongside everything from grilled pork chops to burgers. Make sure to wash your sweet potatoes thoroughly and scrub the skin before grilling. You'll know the sweet potatoes are done when the skin is crispy and you can insert a fork or knife easily into the slice of potato.

You can even serve this for breakfast topped with guacamole or mashed avocado and a sprinkling of salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. A topping of fresh-cut tomtatoes from the garden puts this side over the top!
