- 1 lb ground venison
- 1/4 lb ground sausage
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 slices colby jack cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
Preheat your grill. In a large bowl gently mix together venison, sausage, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper. Shape into 4 patties and grill until medium well, about 4 minutes per side. Top with cheese and let the cheese melt. Serve on hamburger buns.
Make sure to barely mix the meat, over mixing will result in tough burgers.
Top burgers with tomatoes, lettuce, and ketchup.
Serve these burgers with Texas-Style Poutine to complete your meal.
