- 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbs baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbs rosemary
- 1 tsp Thyme
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbs orange zest
- 1/2 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a donut pan with cooking spray and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, rosemary, and thyme. Whisk together.
In a separate mixing bowl, combine eggs, sour cream, sugar, butter, and vanilla extract. Stir together until combined.
Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir to combine until a sticky dough forms. Add orange zest and chopped cranberries. Stir.
Place 1/3 cup of dough in each donut round.
Bake in oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. If you fill donut pan larger than 1/3 cup per round, bake for 20 minutes.
Cool completely on wire rack.
To build your leftover sandwich, slice each donut in half. Layer turkey, stuffing, and gravy until satisfied. Top with other donut half and eat!
