- 2 cups dried macaroni
- 2 Tbsp dry milk powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 cup boiling water
- 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Cook macaroni according to package and preheat your oven to 350ºF.
In a large bowl mix together dry milk, salt, flour, and butter. Gradually whisk in boiling water and stir in cheese. Add macaroni and combine.
Pour the macaroni into a 2-quart baking dish and cover with foil. Bake 25 minutes. Serve.
If you really want to make this authentically, use American cheese in place of the cheddar.
Make sure to heavily salt the boiling water when making your macaroni.
Serve this macaroni and cheese with Jalapeño Poppers.
