For The Dry Rub
- 1 Tbsp paprika
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp chili powder
For The Brisket
- 1 4-lb beef brisket
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 4 1/2 cups Coca-Cola
In a bowl mix together the paprika, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and chili powder. Rub on the brisket and chill overnight in a plastic bag.
Preheat your oven to 350ºF and place the brisket in a large roasting pan. Roast for 1 hour.
Pour the tomato sauce and coca-cola over the brisket and cover tightly with aluminum foil. Cook until fork tender, about 3 hours. Remove from oven and wrap tightly in foil. Let rest 15 minutes before serving.
This brisket is best cut thinly across the grain.
Serve this brisket along with any extra sauce.
