Chocolate Dipped Shortbread
These Chocolate Dipped Shortbread are going to be the talk of the office holiday party! Easy to bake, making this the perfect holiday cookie.

Ingredients
- 1cup butter, softened
- 1/2cup sugar
- 2cups all-purpose flour
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 6oz dark chocolate, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ºF and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in flour and vanilla and mix until combined. Portion cookies into 24 balls and flatten cookies with the tines of a fork.
- Bake the cookies until golden on the bottom, about 12-14 minutes. Remove from baking sheet and cool completely. Dip half of the cookie in the melted chocolate and let set. Serve.
Recipe Notes
If your dough seems a little soft chill it for 1 hour before baking.
Add another layer of flavor by sprinkling the chocolate with sea salt.
