Candied Pepper Bacon

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • Freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400ºF and cover a baking sheet with foil.

In a small bowl mix together the brown sugar and freshly cracked black pepper. Place the bacon on the sheet pan and sprinkle with the mixture. Bake until bacon is crispy, about 15 minutes. Serve hot.

Notes

Use fresh cracked pepper for this recipe to really give it a punch.
