The 5 Best Things To Eat Austin’s Q2 Stadium

Everything is bigger in Texas, and Q2 stadium is no different. I mean, just look at it. It's new. It's pretty. They even had the grass transported in so that Austin FC players can play on premium grass. Just as the stadium is first class, so is its food offerings. From pretzels to nachos, Q2 food is local-born, and you can have a delightful dinner even during the games. Austin is already known for its excellent restaurants, like Casa Chapala, El Mercado, and other Latin fare, but Q2 Stadium's concourse gives you access to delicious munchies like the ATX Doghouse, ice cream, brisket tacos, and more. Let's face it, after the pandemic, we could all use a little more great food in our lives. Located all over the stadium, including their premium terrace section, here are 5 of Austin's most favorite things Q2 Stadium foods. Join us at the Austin table!

1. Easy Tiger - Jumbo Pretzel

If you've ever visited Austin, or just happen to be an Austinite in this big foodie city, you've heard of Easy Tiger. The Germanesque chain has some of the best craft beers, sausages, and bread on every block, but what we enjoy the most is their pretzels!

The Easy Tiger pretzel is not like your regular ole' mall offering. It's big, soft, and just tastes so good. If you're looking for a snack to nibble on, this is what you need to get during games. They have stalls set up on each end of the stadium, and you can grab a Captain Morgan to sip while you shop Austin City goods and munch on your pretzel.

2. Q2's Queso Fountain

You totally read that right! The stadium has a queso fountain right in plain sight as you enter through the gates. This is Texas after all. It's the perfect grab-and-go to kick off game day! We don't need an executive chef to tell us that a queso fountain is amazing.

3. One Taco - Nachos

This is for my carnivores and herbivores alike. Local taco chain, One Taco, is not only bringing their tacos to Austin FC's Q2 Stadium, but you can get their nachos as well.

This isn't just your usual chips and nacho cheese you find at all sports stadiums across the nation. Though, if you're into that you can also find it at Q2's ATX Mrkt (their grab & go markets). One Taco's nachos are super fresh, drenched in their original queso, and a solid Mexican food choice. What makes it even more perfect is that you can tell them to hold the meat and you basically get it vegetarian-style. This is a great option, seeing at there aren't very many vegetarian options at the stadium.

4. Valentina's Tex Mex BBQ - Brisket Sandwich

From a food truck, right to the home match, you have to go by Valentina's if you're looking for a meal to fill up on. Their brisket sandwich is a great option to get a taste of Texas BBQ.

Although it's one of the better local food options, we highly recommend you visit their food truck to try a more expansive menu. It's unfortunate that they don't sell their famous queso at the stadium.

5. Pluckers Wing Bar - Wings

If you're going to Austin FC games, you're going to need some energy. These fans are nuts, but in the best way possible, so why not fill yourself up with some Pluckers?

Pluckers is actually a local business born right in Austin, so it's only natural that they bring their jumbo wings and waffle fries to Q2.
