Pringles Launches 8 New Thanksgiving Day Flavors in Time for Turkey Day

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and brands love getting in on the fun flavor action. Take, for example, Salt & Straw's Salted Caramel Thanksgiving Turkey ice cream. We've seen gravy candy canes and moonshine pickles. We've even eaten our fair share of Pecan Pie M&M's, but nothing really holds a candle to this masterpiece that Pringles released just in time for the big dinner.

For the first time ever, snack-lovers can buy a limited-edition Pringles Thanksgiving Dinner box. Not meant to replace the real feast of Thanksgiving, instead these chips were made as a tasty snack for watching the game or as a pre-dinner appetizer of the classic potato chips. So what does a Pringles Thanksgiving Dinner actually contain?

Each box comes with a tray of the crisps in eight new Thanksgiving-themed flavors:

What made Pringles decide to try this unique idea out? As Kurt Simon, senior director of marketing for Pringles stated in a press release:

"Pringles are known for bold flavors and endless flavor stacking possibilities, so this holiday season we wanted to introduce snack-lovers to a new way to enjoy Thanksgiving favorites. The Pringles Thanksgiving Dinner flavors, are not only new but cover every course of the real meal - from the main event, to sides and even dessert."

There is limited availability for these coveted Pringles Thanksgiving Dinner boxes. The brand held a secret pilot taste test for the release as a new way to snack during the holidays. The pack, with its nice variety, really did mimic the flavors of a holiday meal.

Does it taste like the real thing, a true Thanksgiving dinner, in chip form? You'll just have to grab a box to find out. At the very least, it's a great snack pack to set out for the family while the traditional Thanksgiving dinner is cooking away.
