The Pioneer Woman's Breakfast Order Is a Serious Fan Favorite

It goes without saying that anything Ree Drummond makes is going to have us salivating, so it's no surprise that the whole menu at The Mercantile, her restaurant in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, looks amazing.

It's extra fun, though, getting to see what the Pioneer Woman chooses to eat when she has a chance to dine at The Mercantile. Ree shared a look at her order from a recent breakfast date with her husband Ladd (and she "shared" his breakfast order, too!).

The Migas is three eggs scrambled with onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, cheese, and lightly-fried corn tortilla strips. It's topped with guacamole, sour cream, and Pico de Gallo, and if that's not enough to set your stomach rumbling, a side of "Crispy Bits" potatoes rounds out the delicious menu item.

Ree also noted that she tried a bite (or a few bites) of her cowboy's pancake breakfast, which just makes sense. After all, sharing is good manners. I imagine it was a treat for the crowd that day at The Mercantile to have the Pioneer Woman herself in the house for breakfast, and it's fun to know that the Drummonds spend time at their restaurant.

If you're not anywhere near Osage County, Oklahoma, though, we've got you covered with three recipes for Migas that you can make at home (including one from Ree herself).

1. Tex-Mex Migas

One of the great things about Migas is that you can make it gluten free and vegetarian. This recipe does both, and is also a great dish for your brunch crowd or leftover meals.

3. The Pioneer Woman's Migas

It wouldn't be a migas recipe roundup if we didn't have Ree's version in here, now would it? This recipe is from the early days of The Pioneer Woman blog, and maybe one of the reasons The Mercantile serves this excellent breakfast dish.
