Everybody’s getting in on the fall flavor game, so if you’re on a road trip this season, we’ve got a new way to enjoy the warm and cozy taste of fall, even if the temperatures and the calendar still say summer. Even better, we’ve got a way to create your own awesome pumpkin spice drink with a simple hack and Pilot Flying J coffee.
Pilot Flying J, based in Knoxville, Tennessee, and making up the largest network of travel centers in North America, debuted its Pumpkin Caramel Macchiato this week. The hot beverage is a blend of spiced pumpkin, sweet caramel, and creamy espresso for a warm drink that will keep you caffeinated and happy over long stretches of road (or that short stretch from the gas station to your house).
The drink is now available at the more than 550 Pilot Travel Centers and Flying J Travel Centers across the American countryside. Plus, it’s less than $2, which means it’s a great pumpkin deal. But it’s a limited edition drink; it will be around only as long as supplies last.
In addition to the new Pumpkin Caramel Macchiato, Pilot and Flying J locations will once again offer pumpkin pie creamer and syrup, which means you can be your own barista and hack your Pilot coffee to create the perfect pumpkin drink.
Pilot Flying J coffee is known for its great taste. The stores sell seven different coffee blends, all Pilot Flying J exclusive blends, plus a wide selection of creamers and syrups, so the “best coffee on the interstate” flavor combinations are endless. Just don’t get so caught up in your experiments that you forget to get back on the road!
And for your upcoming road trip, Pilot Flying J has a few road trip tips from professional drivers, including plan ahead, keep your distance from other vehicles, and stay alert.
We’ve got two favorite recipe hacks for great-tasting Pilot Flying J coffee from the experts themselves, but there are a number of fun combinations you can try (pumpkin and chocolate, anyone?). However you like your coffee, this travel center has you covered.
