Pecan Pie Moonshine

If you love pecan pie, you're going to be a huge fan of this easy recipe for Pecan Pie Moonshine. With flavors of brown sugar, butterscotch, and caramel, this nutty concoction is like having a slice of pecan pie in a glass. You can find different brands of this moonshine, like Backwoods Pecan Pie Moonshine, on liquor store shelves, but it turns out this can be easily made right at home. It's a fun project to take on and makes a great gift for friends and family.

With a few simple ingredients, you can have this festive liqueur on hand for a ton of different cocktail recipes. To make this moonshine recipe, start by making a simple syrup in a small saucepan with one cup sugar, water, and candied pecans. For a nutty flavor, make sure the pecans are toasted beforehand. Also, candying them will add even more sweetness to this moonshine. Allow the simple syrup to come to a boil and then sit for at least 20 minutes.

Divide the simple syrup in mason jars, and then top with moonshine. Close the lid and shake the mixture. Let sit for 4 days so all of the ingredients have time to get together. After 4 days, strain out the mixture through a fine mesh strainer. The pecans had plenty of time to infuse into the moonshine, creating a delicious liqueur that is ready to use in cocktails.

For an incredible moonshine and vodka cocktail, combine the Pecan Pie Moonshine and vanilla vodka in a cocktail shaker. Mix well and pour into a glass that is filled with ice. Top with your favorite cream soda and enjoy!

Pecan Pie Moonshine will be your new favorite liqueur of choice. And if you don't have moonshine on hand, no need to worry. Try experimenting with different types of alcohol like vodka or rum.
