Ole Smoky Distillery is expanding their brand with the launch of their new whiskey line. Best known for their Tennessee moonshine, Ole Smoky has announced a nationwide release of their top three whiskey flavors - and we couldn't be more excited. Back in February 2016, Ole Smoky rebranded and renovated Gatlinburg's Davy Crockett Whiskey. The renovated distillery, known as The Barrelhouse, has since been offering up the company's whiskey throughout Tennessee as well as select markets in Georgia and Colorado.
Now by popular demand, Ole Smoky Moonshine and now Ole Smoky Distillery is expanding their market thanks to this great addition. The signature three flavors that will be available across the country are Straight Tennessee Bourbon, Mango Habanero, and Salty Caramel Whiskey.
This is big news for the Ole Smoky brand. The century-old whiskey recipe that is aged for four years in white oak barrels will expand their market and draw in both loyal consumers and whiskey connoisseurs.
The CEO of Ole Smoky, Robert Hall, said of the release:
"We are confident that this business endeavor will bring the company great success. Having two categories under Ole Smoky's name is a huge win for the company, and we hope it will be a great opportunity to increase our fan base."
An increased fan base won't be hard to find. An Ole Smoky Mango Habanero Whiskey cocktail is already set to be featured at the sports bar chain Buffalo Wild Wings come next October. Gaining a large account such as this during football season is sure to reel in a fan base for Ole Smoky.
For those traveling to through east Tennessee near the Gatlinburg area, stop on by the Ole Smoky Barrelhouse for a free tour and whiskey tasting of their specialty Tennessee blended whiskey flavors - which include Ole Smoky Straight Tennessee Whiskey, Tennessee Mud, Cookies & Cream, Cinnamon, Pecan, Maple Root, and the three previously mentioned flavors set for nationwide release.
Also, don't forget their acclaimed Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine. One taste of the white lightening and you'll want everything Ole Smoky has to offer, especially when you taste those moonshine cherries or moonshine peaches. Fruit has never tasted better! We can't wait to see what flavors they'll continue experimenting with when it comes to American whiskey in the Smoky Mountains.
