History

Pasquale "Pat" Giammarco was the founder of Marco's Pizza. Giammarco moved to Dearborn, Michigan from the Abruzzo region of Italy when he was nine years old. Pizza was in his blood, since he worked in his family pizzeria all throughout his youth. In 2002, Jack Butorac was looking for new franchising opportunities. He stopped at all five locations of the Marcos that were open in Ohio. He fell in love with the pizza and wanted to help brand and expand Marco's Pizza to what we know it as today.
