You know Dave Matthews. Even if you act like you don't know his music, you've certainly heard it before. On tour for 25 years running, Dave Matthews will go down as one of the kings of entertainment whether you like it or not. Dave Matthews and concerts go together better than wine and cheese.
And, oddly enough, Dave Matthews now has his own vineyard. Dave Matthews and wine go together "better" than wine and cheese, too. In a recent appearance The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Matthews discussed a litany of topics. One thing he covered was his vineyard.
Blenheim Vineyards, as Matthews' vineyard is called, is located in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Other than offering amazing wines (Colbert says he could get "crunked" on the red they sampled on air), the facility has some other interesting attributes.
According to the Blenheim Vineyards website, master craftsman William Johnson helped Matthews construct the facility. The "winery building was designed to have minimal impact on the environment."
Getting back to the booze, though, it appears that Blenheim offers growlers of their varietals. Long story short, the next time we're passing by Charlottesville you know exactly where to find us.

It's also so much more than a vineyard. It's also a popular wedding venue with picturesque views of the Virginian country side. In addition to hosting weddings, the vineyard is hosting outdoor yoga classes from May to June, and brings in food trucks almost every weekend so guests in the Tasting Room can enjoy bites.
There's also live music on the upper patio, but no word on whether or not Dave himself performs there.
We'd like to think he totally does.
