Lady Gaga Will Take on the Wine Business with 'Grigio Girls'

Hot on the tail of her spectacular Super Bowl performance, Lady Gaga is ready to diversify and make her way into the world of wine and spirits, TMZ reports. Gaga will launch her line of wine, "Grigio Girls," named after a bonus track on 2016's "Joanne." Her company has filed paperwork to produce wine -- we're guessing a pinot grigio -- along with wine coolers, cocktails and punches bearing the Gaga brand.

Lady Gaga -- real name Stefani Germanotta -- revealed in a Radio interview the song "Grigio Girls" was inspired by a friend's battle with cancer.

"It's about how me and all of our girlfriends would get together and cry without her when she's not around, because we love her so much," she said.

These gatherings were, of course, centered around a few bottles of wine. As the lyrics go:

All the Pinot, Pinot Grigio girls
Pour your heart out
Watch your blues turn gold
All the Pinot, Pinot Grigio girls
Keep it real cold
'Cause it's a fired-up world

Here's Grigio Girls to tide you over until we see some glimpses of the wine.

Who's excited for Gaga wine? One can only hope there'll be glitter in a few of the bottles.
