You know we're fond of a good fast food secret menu, whether we're talking about the creative drink combos at Starbucks or the indulgently cheesy additions to the Taco Bell menu. It's a fun way to feel like you're in the know and get some good food. If you like secret menus from your favorite restaurant chains, you're going to love the Jimmy John's secret menu. Not only is it "freaky fast," it's also a way to get exactly what you want. As always, while you can order many of these items by name or through the customization process, be prepared to explain your order.
Like Arby's and Subway, you can customize your Jimmy John's gourmet sandwich to satisfy the exact sandwich craving you're having that day. If you're looking to cut back on calories, you can order a Little John to get a skinny version of your favorite sandwich. For extra flavor, you can also add on everything from avocado to tuna salad to yellow mustard on whatever sandwich you order. There's even the Noah's Ark, which involves double portions of the meat, for those looking for a protein-packed challenge.
Jimmy John's Secret Menu
Jimmy John's is already known for having dependably delicious sandwiches, perfect for when you're on the go or looking for a classic sandwich. The chain's secret menu brings their versatility to a new level! However you order your sandwich, though, order it politely and don't forget the pickle on the side. Here are all the things to order on the Jimmy John's secret menu.
Jimmy John's Gargantuan
Technically, The Gargantuan (or the J.J. Gargantuan) is a former secret menu item. It's on the sandwich shop's regular menu now, and you order it by name. This sandwich is the one you want if you're looking for all the deli meat: genoa salami, sliced smoked ham, capicola, roast beef and turkey, then add some provolone cheese, onions, lettuce and tomato, plus mayonnaise and Italian dressing for good measure.
This Jimmy John's secret menu item takes the Gargantuan and makes it even bigger by doubling the meat. That's more salami, more capicola, more turkey, more roast beef and more ham, plus provolone and all the other toppings.
Technically, this double meat sandwich is the same thing as Noah's Ark, but you can also order it this way because some locations actually have it listed on their ordering system this way. If you're not sure why the same sandwich has a different name, say it out loud.
If you're not a fan of the toppings, you can order a Plain Slim, which is basically bread, meat and cheese, without all the other veggie and other toppings.
To get any sandwich without the veggies, just order it as a slim. So the Slim BLT is simply bread and lots of bacon, not that there's anything wrong with that. And Jimmy John's has their own secret menu version of a secret menu item, too: They say order a Slim BLT with cheese for perfect breakfast sandwich.
The Chuck Norris goes way back on the Jimmy John's secret menu. This sandwich combines the tuna sub with delicious bacon bits. If you can't order it by name, just order the Totally Tuna) with bacon.
Jimmy John's cuts out the inside of the sub roll when they make the sandwich, so that they can stuff all that meat and cheese and veggies inside. If you want all that bread, though, you just have to order your favorite sandwich as LBI (or leave bread in)>
Technically, this isn't a secret menu item because Jimmy John's has it right on their regular menu. But it feels like you're getting away with something by ordering a delicious sandwich and going low-carb by asking for a lettuce wrap instead of bread.
