Is Starbucks Open on Christmas for Your Holiday Caffeine Fix?

The holiday season is a time for family, food and gift giving. Between the holiday shopping, cooking, and Christmas tree decorating, we could all use a little burst of energy to get through the day. Many grocery stores and coffee shops are closed on Christmas, but some know the importance of supplying caffeine to the last-minute Christmas shoppers. The question is, is Starbucks open on Christmas?

Starbucks is one of the fast food chains that typically has our back when it comes to holidays, allowing us to hit up the drive-thru to get the coffee fix we need. Although it often depends on the individual store, most locations remain open for at least part of the day on any given holiday, from Thanksgiving Day to Black Friday to Easter.

What Hours is Starbucks Open on Christmas Day?

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are no exception, and Starbucks will indeed be open for all of your holiday Starbucks coffee needs! However, many Starbucks locations will be open for limited Starbucks holiday hours for the day, closing early between 2:30 and 3:30 local time. Also, some select Starbucks stores will be closed to give their employees a break for the holiday.

To ensure that you don't make the trip for nothing, it's best to call your local Starbucks, check the store hours online or check your Starbucks app before heading out the door. A Starbucks spokesperson says that "customers are encouraged to use the Starbucks Store locator to determine hours at their local stores."

Once you've determined the hours of operation and ensured that your local store is open and ready to supply you a hot cup of coffee, it's time to decide between the many holiday drinks that Starbucks makes this time of year. Although Starbucks makes even a regular cup of coffee festive with their holiday cups, they also make a number of delectable holiday drinks.

The Peppermint Mocha is a classic, and the Caramel Brulée Latte, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino and new Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte are all yummy ways to start your Christmas morning.
