Since then, this beloved barbecue joint has become a beacon for travelers and locals alike.
In fact, their explosive success in pit-smoked meat has prompted them to step further into the realm of all things meat with another favorite of Texans: the burger.
That's right, as of March 21st, the Burns Burger Shack has flung open its doors to feed the hungry public. Now at 8307 DePriest St, you can walk up and order old fashioned burgers, fries, and shakes.
Not only that, but should the mood strike, you can also fill up on some of their famous BBQ because the Burns Burger Shack is just steps away from Burns Original BBQ.
Yes, it's true. Now you never have to choose between burgers and BBQ again. All you need to do is visit the one stop shop down in Houston. Although, we would recommend getting some to-go as eating it all in one sitting will likely result in some serious meat sweats.
According to Houston Eater, after only being open less than a week, Houston rapper Slim Thug has already endorsed the Burns Burger Shack. Although apparently he has yet to give his opinion on whether or not the burgers are on par with the legendary barbecue.
