Froot Loop Donuts Are A Childhood Dream Come True

Hear that? It's your childhood knocking with your favorite fruity cereal in its hands. Froot Loops (yes, I never realized it wasn't spelled, "fruit" either) is coming to a Hardee's or Carl's Jr. near you in the form of a very delicious fried treat. Get ready, Froot Loops mini donuts are here and we are ready to join Toucan Sam.

The fast-food chain released the new menu item nationwide and so far the Kellogg breakfast cereal inspired dessert has been gaining praise from tasters. With five vibrant colors - red, yellow, green, blue and purple - these new Froot Loops cereal donuts look exactly like their miniature cereal counterparts. Coming in a five-pack at only $1.99, it's a small price to pay to relive the Saturday cartoon mornings of your youth.

The mini doughnuts taste (and smell) exactly like the iconic cereal, so much so you'll be wanting a glass of milk to wash it all down. And no matter which doughnut you pick up they all taste the same just like every piece of Froot Loop cereal has the same fruit mixture in each loop. Sorry to burst any bubbles but in fact all foot loop cereal loops taste exactly the same no matter if it is green or purple. Heartbreaking, I know.

This isn't the first time the Kellogg's cereal has stepped into the fast food realm. Back in 2017 Burger King released a Froot Loops Milkshake for a limited time run. The shake was a creamy blend of vanilla soft serve ice cream and Froot Loop cereal pieces.

Love munching on your favorite childhood cereals? If you ever find yourself in the bustling city of Manhattan make your way over to Kellogg's NYC, home to a cereal bar complete with 30 different toppings, a pop tart ice cream sandwich and even a cereal creation topped with cotton candy.
