KitchenAid Is Giving Away Free KitchenAid Stand Mixers

You know those blue envelopes that you get in the mail every so often, the ones packed with coupons? Keep an eye out for them in October. Valpak, the company that sends out coupons in blue envelopes, is partnering with Susan G. Komen and KitchenAid to raise awareness about invasive breast cancer during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As part of the "More than Pink" campaign, they will be giving away free KitchenAid stand mixers and other KitchenAid small kitchen appliances.

KitchenAid and Komen have been partners since 2001 with the Cook for the Cure program that has raised more than $11.6 million to support the fight against breast cancer; the company plans to donate $250,000 to the organization in 2018. The new partnership with Valpak to give away free KitchenAid stand mixers will help raise awareness during October, which is National Breast Cancer Month.

It's estimated that 268,670 women and men in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year and over 41,000 people will die from the disease.

"Valpak is proud to partner with Susan G. Komen and Sandra Lee for this powerful initiative as we inspire others to join us in the fight against breast cancer," said Mike Davis, CEO for Valpak. "This initiative is personal for Valpak as many of our employees are affected by the disease in some way and we are determined to stand up and help find a cure. This cause month envelope in October is hopefully the first of many for us, as we are determined to make a big impact on a nationwide cause at least once per year."

Valpak is working with Komen to share stories of people who are working to end breast cancer and support those with the disease. Starting on September 25, you can nominate a hero in the fight against breast cancer. Throughout the month of October, Valpak will share some of those stories and then 25 people will be chosen to receive one of the free KitchenAid stand mixers with mixing bowl, blender, two-speed hand blender, and five-speed hand mixer, all in pink.

KitchenAid has a special line of cranberry-pink kitchen tools, including an artisan stand mixer, blender, and immersion blender, all part of their effort to help raise awareness about breast cancer. The KitchenAid mixer is a tilt-head stand mixer with a stainless steel bowl, dough hook, and flat beater, plus a pouring shield.

The Valpak envelopes will turn pink for October and there will be blender-shaped tickets hidden in 500 of the envelopes. People who find the tickets will win a KitchenAid immersion blender. If you don't get the coupon envelope and want to, you can request them here.
