Chipotle Honors Nurses with Cool BOGO Deal

It's great to honor certain professions, like nurses, with days or weeks where everybody says thanks. It may be even better to be honored on a random day when you're not expecting it, which is exactly what Chipotle Mexican Grill is doing today with a free Chipotle food deal that shows appreciation to some of our favorite people.

Calling a "Code Burrito," the burrito chain is offering nurses a sweet BOGO deal to show their appreciation. At Chipotle locations in the U.S. and Canada throughout the day on June 5, nurses will receive a buy-one-get-one deal on their in-restaurant orders. Just purchase a burrito, bowl, salad, or order of tacos and get you'll get a free burrito, burrito bowl, or other entree item.

"Nurses are some of the most selfless people and make such significant contributions to our society day in and day out," said Laurie Schalow, chief communications officer at Chipotle, in a statement. "Every year, we want to make sure we do a little something to make them feel appreciated and ensure all that they do doesn't go unnoticed."

The deal includes all types of nurses (RN, NP, CRNA, CNS, CNM, LVN, CNA, and local equivalents or analogues). You'll need a form of work ID, which can be your nursing license or hospital ID or medical office nurse ID. There is a limit of one free meal per nurse and the deal is based on the purchase of a qualifying entrée item of equal or greater value and is subject to availability.

National Nurses Week was May 6-12 and we hope you thanked a nurse during that week, because without nurses, our healthcare system would fall apart. But if you missed your opportunity, today's a great day to show your favorite nurse appreciation by sending them a note about this free Chipotle deal stat.
