Creme Savers is a Nostalgic Candy Back on Shelves

Good news is here! Creme Savers, is finally back on retail shelves! Thanks to Iconic Candy, LLC as well as Mars Wrigley, Creme Savers candies are back in stores. Reminiscent of happier times, according to a press release, the candy will be available in your favorite original flavors. The two blends include orange & creme and strawberry & creme.

What Are Creme Savers?

Fruity and creamy (think an orange creamsicle in a candy!) , Creme Savers are individually wrapped candies flavored with natural and artifical flavors. In its heyday, the brand boasted flavors such as Chocolate & Caramel, Banana & Creme, Raspberry & Creme, and Butter Toffee & Creme. Each one was the perfect candy to suck on while doing homework or catching up on Jeopardy.

Iconic Candy LLC brought back the two most popular flavors.

Why Did Creme Savers Disappear?

While there are many foods that have come and gone over time, there are some that were just so darn good, it's hard to imagine why they were discontinued. Take Creme Savers. You might remember the very popular flavor, Strawberry Cream. Bring back any memories?

There were also other flavors like Orange Cream and Raspberry Cream, but you really couldn't go wrong with Strawberries and Cream. I mean, it was so hard to not snag a few bags while waiting on the checkout line at the drugstore. And I'm sure we could all think of someone who had these suckers sitting in their candy dish.

A spinoff hard candy of Life Savers, Creme Savers were a yummy sugar free hard candy produced by Nabisco in the late 90s and then owned by Wrigley, but they were sadly discontinued mid-00s without a clear explanation.

Well, that didn't stop folks online from begging for their return. These beauties brought us back to simpler times in life like snacking on a few from Grandma's candy dish or holding us over in class until the bell rang to let us know it was lunchtime. And if you were a little older when they were a hit, maybe you remember stealing a few from your co-worker's candy dish while they were on a lunch break. Don't worry, we won't judge! There's no doubt the sweet, rich cream flavor brought a smile to our faces.

In fact, during the exodus of Creme Savers, a new candy popped up and tasted almost like the creamy and fruity treat. Campino Yogurt Fruit Candies saved the day when Creme Savers were no longer around
