Copycat Chick-fil-A Peach Milkshake Recipe Only Contains 3 Ingredients

It comes but once a year, bringing the taste of juicy peaches blended harmoniously with vanilla Icedream. The Chick-fil-A peach milkshake is one of the ultimate signs that summer has officially arrived. That is when it actually arrives. Last year the fast food chain released the summer shake in the middle of June, however, there hasn't been an announcement of when it's coming back as of late. Our cravings are high, so we decided to make our own copycat Chick-fil-A peach milkshake recipe (dairy-free options too!) to start the summer on a peachy keen note.

Introduced in 2006, Chick-fil-A's peach milkshake is all about seasonality. "Our priority is serving the best menu item possible, and that means using the freshest ingredients we can find, when they are in season" says Bolling from Chick-fil-A's Menu and Packaging Team. The seasonal milkshake is only available when peaches are at their ripest, which means the release date may differ year to year based on the ripeness of the peaches.

To create this fan favorite at home, grab your favorite vanilla ice cream, canned or frozen peaches, and milk. For a dairy-free alternative of our copycat Chick-fil-A peach milkshake, switch out the vanilla ice cream for either oat milk, soy, or coconut milk-based ice cream. My personal favorite is Ripple Vanilla, which is found in most grocery stores and tastes like rich vanilla custard. For the milk, almond is the preferred alternative due to its slightly nutty flavor and creamy consistency. Coconut milk is also a great alternative, however, be mindful that coconut milk is stronger in flavor and will be more pronounced in the milkshake. For thicker shakes, err on the side of using more ice cream.

blending peach milkshake

Using a blender, combine your ice cream and milk of choice, and the peaches. Blend until thick and pour into a tall glass, topping with whipped cream (or a dairy-free alternative such as Non-Dairy Almond Milk Reddi-Whip), chopped peaches, and a maraschino cherry.

Want to turn up the creativity on this milkshake? Add a handful of strawberries or blueberries into the blender for a fruity take on the original. Better yet, substitute the vanilla ice cream for peach ice cream for a peachy takeover.
