[dropcap]I[/dropcap]t's official; We live in the future now. We have ovens you can control with your smartphone, dinner orders are only a click away, and get this, Instapot just launched a blender that also cooks your food. That's right, this all in one kitchen appliance can make everything from your favorite smoothie to pureeing a cream of butternut squash soup. This cooking blender is the ultimate multi-cooker if I've ever seen.
Brought to you by Instant Pot, the producers of pressure cookers, multi-use cooking appliances and most recently the Pioneer Woman's decorated version, the new Instant Pot Ace Cooking Blender features hot blending programs for making homemade rice milk, oat milk or nut milk. The Instant Pot Ace is designed with 8-built-in programs including cold blending programs home cooks will love when making one-pitcher meals.
The blending programs include smoothie, puree, ice cream, crushed ice, soy milk, rice milk, almond/nut milk, and soup. There are also three manual blending speeds: low, medium, high, and a pulse feature to break up larger foods. And don't think you need to try and scrape everything clean. The Instant Pot Ace Cooking Blender also comes with a cleaning feature that you can use to clean your blender without taking out the sponge.
Making your own dairy-free milk couldn't get easier with this beverage blender. According to the user's manual, a recipe of soy milk takes 28 minutes. Soak the soybeans for about an hour in warm water, then strain and remove any skins if desired. Add the soybeans to the blender along with water and press the "Soy Milk" button. Once the blender has reached the optimal temperature, the blender will blend the beans. After 28 minutes strain the liquid through the straining bag (which comes with the blender) and refrigerate for up to 4 days.
So scratch off an immersion blender or Vitamix off your shopping list, this stainless steel blender is available at the affordable rate of $99 only at Walmart.
