Coffee Moonshine
Make your own Coffee Moonshine for National Coffee Day! Serve up this drink for a little caffeine kick with your moonshine.
Ingredients
For The Coffee Moonshine
- 12 oz Everclear
- 1 T cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup high quality coffee beans
For 1 Drink
- 2 oz coffee moonshine
- 2 oz brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 Tbsp chocolate syrup
- milk
- ice
Instructions
For The Coffee Moonshine
- In a large jar mix together the Everclear, cocoa powder, and coffee beans. Add a lid and let sit for 2 weeks. Strain coffee beans when serving.
For 1 Drink
- In a glass filled with ice combine the coffee moonshine, brewed coffee, chocolate syrup, and milk to taste. Serve.
Notes
You can also serve the drink warm by heating up the coffee and serving it in a mug.
The moonshine can infuse for up to a month. Remove beans after a month.
